A jar contains 2 nickels, x dimes, and 3 quarters. 2 coins are removed from the jar, one after the other without replacement. The probability that 2 nickels are removed is 1/21.
Do you agree the value is 2? What is the probability that 1 dime and 1 quarter were removed? What is the probability that the total value of the 2 coins removed is 15 cents?
