The continent that had the most malnourished children in this time frame was Africa. The biggest part of the continent was in very bad economical state, civil wars and genocides were raging, lots of the existential goods were not available for the people, that contributed to big portion of the children to be malnourished, that contributed to very high percentage of death among the youngest population.
