Find the value of c so that (x - 3) is a factor of the polynomial p(x). p(x) = x4 - 3x2 + - 2x + c

if x - 3 is a factor then p(3) = 0 , so

3^4 - 3(3)^2 - 2(3) + c = 0

48 + c = 0

Answer c = -48
