A=p*q /2 = 10.2 x 8 / 2= 40.8

It is given in the question that the diagonal lengths of a kite are 10.2 ft and 8 ft .

And we have to find the area of the kite .

And to find the area, we use the following formula.

[tex]Area= \frac{p q}{2}[/tex]

Where p and q are the diagonal lengths .

Substituting the values of the given length of diagonals, we will get

[tex]Area= \frac{10.2*8}{2} = 40.8 ft^2[/tex]

And that's the required area .
