Carbon monoxide poisoning is sometimes mistakenly identified as a flu, seasickness or alcohol intoxication. People often overlook the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning because they are very similar to non-serious diseases or conditions. Symptoms are nausea, fatigue, dizziness, shortness of breath, vomiting, confusion, loss of muscle coordination and unconsciousness.
