Can someone please help me to solve this: 1/2p+7=3/4p+9

Your answer would be P= -8

1/2p + 7 = 3/4p + 9

9 - 7 = 3/4p - 1/2p

(1*2/2*2  = 2/4)

2 = 3/4p - 2/4p

2 = 1/4p

1/4p = 2

p = 2/1/4

p = 2*4/1

p = 6
