before i write the answer; remember that:
+ × + = -
- × - = +
+ × - = -
- × + = -
[tex]3 - ( - ( - 1)) = [/tex]
[tex]3 - ( + 1) = [/tex]
[tex]3 - 1 = 2[/tex]
So; the answer is: 2
