What does “Witch!”, “Red!”, “Terrorist!” mean in The Crucible?

"Witch!", "Red!", "Terrorist"! in The Crucible mean innocent people accused of being communists. The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, is an allegory of the communist witch-hunt that took place in 1950's. It relates the witch-hunt and trials that took place in Salem, Massachusetts, in 1692 to the McCarthyism that is the persecution of innocent people accused of being communists.
