Hello!

Answer:  x=-a/c-b and c≠b

Explanation:

Distributive property: → a(b+c)=ab+ac

Solve for x.

First, you had to used their factor.

[tex]cx-bx=x(c-b)[/tex]

[tex]x(c-b)=-a[/tex]

Then you divide by c-b  and c≠b

[tex]\frac{x(c-b)}{c-b}= \frac{-a}{c-b}; c\neq b[/tex]

Simplify.

[tex]x=-\frac{a}{c-b};c \neq b[/tex]

Hope this helps!
