Okay. Let's start with Pemdas. 3^2 is nine. 6/3 is two. nine subtract two is 7. Your parenthesis are now completed. The standing equation now looks like (7)*8, or (7)8. 7*8 is 56.  I hope this helps you!

(3^2-6/3)*8

=(9-6/3)*8

=(9-2)*8

=(7)*8 =7*8

=56
