Answer: cis (ln x) ; x > 0

Step-by-step explanation:

  [tex]x^i[/tex]

[tex]= e^{ln(x^i)}[/tex]

[tex]=e^{i \ln(x)}[/tex]

= cos (ln x) + i sin (ln x)

AKA: cis (ln x)

NOTE: I found this following formula which you may find useful:

[tex]A^i = x + iy[/tex]
