The easiest way to do this is to distribute one term to the second set of parentheses and add eveything. Start with x2 and distribute to get x^4 + x^3 + 2x^2. Then the 3x distributed gets you 3x^3 + 3x^2 +6x. Finally the 1 distributed gets you x^2 + x + 2. You add all three answers together to get x^4 + 4x^3 + 6x^2 + 7x + 2
