A rock that disintegrates by chemical weathering into small grains of similar composition would not be considered as a process of reproduction. There is a very simple reason as to why this will not be considered as reproduction. The reproduction is a process that occurs only among living organisms, and the rocks are not living organisms. This is simply weathering, through which the rock changes its structure and composition, and it may give birth to another type of rock if there are suitable conditions for it.
