If you are given two points you don't need to graph the line but you need to use the slope formula. m = [tex]\frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}[/tex]. You can use this formula every time when you are given two sets of points and want to find the slope of the line. Always remember that's its great to simplify at the end if possible.
