Answer:

Answer will be x-1

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given polynomial [tex]2x^2+3x+1[/tex] and [tex]2x^3+x^2-2x-1[/tex]

We have to find the polynomial that when the polynomial is multiplied with l [tex]2x^2+3x+1[/tex] it gives  [tex]2x^3+x^2-2x-1[/tex]

When we divide [tex]2x^3+x^2-2x-1[/tex] by [tex]2x^2+3x+1[/tex] we get the x-1

As [tex]\frac{2x^3+x^2-2x-1}{2x^2+3x+1}=x-1[/tex]

So [tex]{2x^3+x^2-2x-1}={2x^2+3x+1}\times( x-1)[/tex]

So the polynomial will be x-1
