Which equation has x = -2 as the solution?
2x + 10 = 14
2x + 8 = 4
3x + 10 = 1
3x – 8 = 7

The answer is 2x + 8 = 4

The answer is 2x +8=4 because 2 times -2 equals -4. When -4 is added to 8, it comes out to 4
