Given is :

The length of the wooden board is given as = 108 inches.

As it is cut in 2 equal parts, it becomes [tex]\frac{108}{2}= 54[/tex] inches each

We have to calculate the length of each part in feet, so divide 54 by 12.

12 inches = 1 feet

54 inches = [tex]\frac{54}{12}[/tex] = 4.5

So, the length of each part is 4.5 feet.
