How does the amount of sunlight that receive affect the height of the plants ?

A plant needs sunlight to grow, it also needs carbon dioxide, and water. The plant needs sun so it can make oxygen for animals and us, but also it gives it stuff to make glucose witch it needs. The plant needs it to survive.
