The total resistance  of Resistors connected in series  is given as  

Rs = R1 + R2 + R3....

Here, we have that two resistors are connected in series

therefore,

Rs = 100 + 100 = 200 Ω

But current according to ohm's law is given as

I= V/R

where I= current in ampere, A

V= Voltage in volts, V and

R= Resistance, in ohms,Ω

therefore,

I= V/Rs

I = 12/ 200 = 0.06 A
