What is the image point of (−1,−7) after a translation left 4 units and up 2 units?

Left means negative. And it’s also along the x axis. So you should subtract 4 from the x value.
-1 - 4 = -5

Up means positive. And it’s along the y axis. So you should add 2 to the y value
-7 + 2 = -5

The coord is (-5,-5)
