A square has 4 equal sides. If one of those is taken to be x cm, then the perimeter would be

x cm + x cm + x cm + x cm = 12.32 cm

That is,

4x cm = 12.32 cm

x cm = 12.32/4 cm

x cm = 3.08 cm

The length of each side of the square is 3.08 cm.
