then u simplify

3k + 63 + 8k to 11k + 63

then u subtract 63 from both sides

96 = 11k + 63

33 = 11k

Then u divide both sides by 11

33/11 = k

then u simplify 33/11 to 3

3 = k

and last u switch the sides
