so, [tex]\frac{-5-(-7)}{-2-(-3)}[/tex] =      [tex]\frac{2}{1}[/tex]  = 2

So the rate of change for the table is 2 while the rate of change for the equation is 4. 4>2 so the equation has a greater rate of change.
