Hey there!

Molar mass SO₂ = 64.066 g/mol

Therefore:

1 mole SO₂ -------------------- 64.066 g

(moles SO₂ ) ??---------------- 5.0 g

( moles SO₂) = 5.0 * 1 / 64.066

(moles SO₂) = 5.0 / 64.066

moles = 0.0780 moles of SO₂

Hope this helps!
