propaganda is biased or misleading information which is used to promote a (usually) political point of view. for example, propaganda posters were used widely in the second world war to encourage young men to go to war. these posters included persuasive techniques which ‘’glamorized’’ the idea of being a soldier. another example is the use of propaganda by John F Kennedy. he promoted the idea that America needed to put the first man on the moon.
