x= -530

This is because:

2(x+60)+2(30)=200
•distribute the 2s into each parentheses
2x+1200+60=200
•combine like-terms
2x+1260=200
•isolate 2x by subtracting 1260 from both sides of the equation
2x=200-1260
•subtract 1260 from 200
2x= -1260
•divide both sides by 2 so you can have x all alone
2x/2= -1260/2
Hence
x= -530
