Find the sum of X + y, when x= 3.1, and y= 5.4

So all this is is changing the x and y variables, 

In this case, x = 3.1 and y = 5.4 so, 

3.1 + 5.4 

3 + 5 = 8

.1 + .4 = .5 

8.5
