How are mitosis and meiosis the same and different?

Mitosis and meiosis are two different processes of cell division. Mitosis is the process by which a cell makes identical copies. In these cells, DNA is exactly the same. Meiosis is the process by which a cell divides into two, not identical cells, which means that the DNA is not the same.
