Explanation:

u=0, g=9.8m/s², h=1.2m, v= ?.

from the formula => v²-u²=2gh

=> v²=2×9.8×1.2

=> v = √23.52

=> v = 4.84 m/s .

therefore, with 4.84 m/s the ball will hit the ground.
