The product of 3/8 ⋅ (−3/6) is  -3/16 when  multiplied.

Whenever we see a dot in mathematics, it signifies multiplication as well as product or times

Now we were Given

3/8 ⋅ (−3/6)

we first open the bracket and replace dot with multiplication sign

3/8  x  −3/6

Next we multiply out

3/8  x  −3/6= -9/48
