because"in caloric excess." You are eating more calories than your body is using. You will store these extra calories as fat and you'll gain weight.

b you gain weight.  The goals is to burn all your calories and eat healthy, but by doing the opposite you body doesn't react to the exercise you are doing, because you don't continue to eat and exercise right.
