The mechanical advantage formula of lever is:
MA Lever = Fo (output force of lever) / Fi (input force)
=> We usually lever to make our work easier in lifting objects. In this given situation, we need to find the mechanical advantage of a lever.
Given numbers:
=> Input arms = 4 meters
=> output arms = 0.8 meters
Now, let us solve by dividing the output arms and the input arms.
=> 0.8 meters / 4 meters
=> 0.2 meters
Thus, the mechanical advantage of lever is 0.2 meters.
