an object is acted upon by a force of 22 newtons to the right and a force of 14 newtons to the left. what is the magnitude and direction of the net force?

Given:

1. Force to the right = 22N
2. Force to the left = 14N

Net force=22-14
=8N

Direction is of the greater force= right

Therefore the resultant force is 8N to the right
