This morning, Raina's car had 23.21 gallons of fuel. Now, 1.5 gallons are left. How much fuel did Raina use?​

Total Gallons = Number of Gallons used + Number of Gallons she has left

Let x represent number of gallons of fuel used

23.21 gallons = x gallons + 1.5 gallons
x = 21.6 gallons were used
