Let's shorten it down to 629, so move to the tens place and see if it's 4 and below it'll stay the same 5 and higher makes it change to a number that is one higher, after you get that far then you change the rest of the digits to zero to get 600 I hope this helped you, love! :3

5,629 to the nearest hundred would be 5,600, since the tens place is 2. and in order to round the hundreds place up to the next number, the number behind it has to be 5 or more. Since it's 4 or less, we keep it the same :3
