Type II diabetes mellitus - Insensitivity to Insulin

The process where Insulin is still normally secreted from the pancreas, however when it binds to the target area on the body, its receptor has no effect on initaiting the cellular physiology cascades responsible for sotring glucose

Its the more dangerous of the two diabetes conditions because doctors cannot treat receptor insensitivity.
