Here, we have to solve for the variable "N".

Let's take numbers to one side and the variable to another.

Remember, side change means sign change.

So,

[tex]\begin{gathered} -2N+3=8 \\ 3-8=2N \\ -5=2N \end{gathered}[/tex]

Now, that we have it, we simply divide both sides by 2 to get the vlaue of "N",

[tex]\begin{gathered} -5=2N \\ N=-\frac{5}{2} \end{gathered}[/tex]
