[tex]-\frac{3}{6}\cdot x=-2[/tex]

-3/6 is multiplying on the left, then it will divide on the right. Remember that divide by a fraction is the same as multiply by it inverse. The inverse of -3/6 is -6/3.

[tex]\begin{gathered} x=-2\cdot(\frac{-6}{3}) \\ x=-2\cdot(-2) \\ x=4 \end{gathered}[/tex]
