Jason bakes a pan of cornbread and he cut it in equal sizes. At the end of dinner there were 2 pieces left. Explain how u find the number of pieces in the whole pan of cornbread if Jason told you that 1/6 of the pan was left.

You would multiply 2 x 6 since 2 is only 1/6 of the pan.
