 5-X=-6-3X/2

First: You would get rid of your fraction by multiplying each side by two.
You would get: 2(5-x)=-6-3x > which equals 10-2x=-6-3x
Next: You would combine like terms, but we are going to do your x's first. You would add your -3x to both sides which makes it a positive.
You would get: 10-x=-6
Next: What you would do is subtract 10 on both sides of the equal sign.
You would get: -x=-16
Last: You would divide by -1 on each side of the equal sign to get your x alone.
Your answer would be: x=16
