Well, Gandhi was born in India and saw the need for a change. But he wanted to become and lawyer, but there weren't any opportunities for black lawyers in India, so he moved to Africa for a couple of months. Still no hope. But he saw unfairness and slavery so he changed a couple of things and returned to India to do the same. The lawyer job was gone.
He was a peaceful protester.
