There are 26 black cards in a standard deck of cards.  There are also two red jacks.  (The black jacks have already been accounted for because they're black.)

This means there are 28 cards you could pick to satisfy the desired outcome, out of 52 cards possible.

28/52 = 0.538461538461538

or about 53.8%
