Mr of C6H12O6= (12*6)+(12*1)+(16*6)=180
Mr of O2=(16*2)=32

If 180 g of glucose requires 6*32 g of oxygen
38 g of glucose would need 6*32/180 * 38=40.53 g of oxygen
ans=40.53

mr of CO2=44
If 180 g of glucose gives 44*6 g of CO2
therefore 38 g of it gives 44*6/180 * 38 = 55.73 g of CO2
