Formula to solve 5/8m=12

5/8m=12
You need to isolate m, and to do so you multiply 8m to both sides
5=8m(12)
You then divide both sides by 12.
5/12=8m.
Now you just have to divide both sides by 8.
m=5/96
or if you want it in decimal form,
m=.052
