A theme is sort of like a message? And a moral is a lesson.

Here are 2 things I know both differ form each other

Theme and moral are overlapping concepts with minor differences.

Theme is a central idea of a text that is implied by the author several times in a book or story while moral is the message or the lesson that the author wants readers to get form the story.
