An 8-year-old child who scored like an average 10-year-old on an intelligence test would have a mental age of 10 and iq of  125

IQ =
mental age ÷ Physical age × 100
In this case,
Mental age= 10
Physical age= 8

So, the iq calculation is:
IQ =  10/8 x 100
IQ = 1.25 x 100
IQ = 125
