Pierre Bourdieu claimed that lifestyle choices and taste are instrumental in creation of social classes. People build classes not around money or careers, but around what their lifestyle choices are, adding that working class or poor people also have the same lifestyle choices, but they just can't commit to them out of lack of funds.
