How did experiences of slaves in the chesapeake differ from their experiences in south carolina?

The main difference was that those in South Carolina had a much harder time working and surviving. Times were much harder and violence was a common thing in South Carolina while those in the Chesapeake area didn't have as many problems with violent masters.
