8/6 = x + 2/32

To solve this, you need to subtract 2/32 from both sides. To do that though, the two fractions need to have a common denominator.

2/32 can be simplified to 1/16.

The lowest denominator they have in common is 48.
1/16 = 3/48
8/6 = 64/48

Now subtract them.
(64/48) - (3/48) = 61/48

That cannot be simplified, so it's the final answer.
x = 61/48
