The cerebral cortex plays a
major role in out emotions because it plays a role in the capability to identify
and control emotions. The Cerebral Cortex is composed of tightly
packed neurons and is the creased, outermost layer that surrounds the brain. It
is also accountable for higher thought progressions including speech and
decision making . The cortex is divided into four different lobes, the frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital, which are
each responsible for giving out different types of sensory data.
